Fall Open Enrollment begins August 1, 2020
We are pleased to offer Northwestern students and their families insurance plans provided by Delta Dental of Illinois, Chubb Insurance and MD Live. You are eligible to enroll in the Delta Dental PPO or DeltaCare DHMO plan, DeltaVision plan, and the NU-Supplement Accident and Sickness plan. You also have access Behavioral Health and Dermatology through MD Live. You do not need to participate in the Northwestern University Student Health Insurance Plan (NU-SHIP) to enroll in one of these plans.

- Fall: August 1st – October 31st, 2020 (plan effective September 1st)
- Spring: February 1st – April 30th, 2021 (plan effective March 1st)

The DeltaVision plan provides students with access to EyeMed’s national network of vision providers. Students can also take advantage of online ordering options through Contacts Direct and Glasses.com.
NU-SUPPLEMENT INSURANCE
The Accident and Sickness Hospital Indemnity Insurance provides cash benefits for certain accidental injuries, hospitalizations or unexpected expenses related to a hospitalization.
MD Live
MD Live provides convenient access to video, voice, and mobile virtual healthcare services. Students can access a doctor, counselor, dermatologist by secure video or phone.
